According to the Mormon Church, in their Handbook and scriptures (Doctrine and Covenants), only their priesthood has the power to do healings, access the mysteries of God, and see angels or God.
19 And this GREATER PRIESTHOOD administereth the gospel and holdeth the key of the MYSTERIES of the KINGDOM, even the key of the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
20 Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, the POWER of GODLINESS is MANIFEST.
21 And WITHOUT the ORDINANCES thereof, and the AUTHORITY of the PRIESTHOOD, the POWER of GODLINESS is NOT MANIFEST unto men in the flesh;
22 For WITHOUT THIS NO MAN CAN SEE THE FACE OF GOD, even the Father, and live. (D&C 84)18 THE POWER and authority of the higher, or Melchizedek Priesthood, is to hold the keys of all the spiritual blessings of the church—
19 TO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE of RECEIVING THE MYSTERIES of the kingdom of heaven, to have the HEAVENS OPENED unto them, to commune with the general assembly and church of the Firstborn, and TO ENJOY the COMMUNION and PRESENCE of GOD the FATHER, and JESUS the mediator of the new covenant. (D&C 107)1 I confer the PRIESTHOOD OF AARON, which holds the keys of the MINISTERING OF ANGELS (D&C 13)
Ordinances and blessings are sacred acts performed by the authority of the priesthood and in the name of Jesus Christ. As priesthood holders perform ordinances and blessings, they follow the Savior’s example of blessing others. Priesthood ordinances and blessings provide access to God’s power (see Doctrine and Covenants 84:20). (“18. Performing Priesthood Ordinances and Blessings,” General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)
But this contradicts The Holy Book of Mormon. Moroni said all those things were contingent upon FAITH and given by the SPIRIT of GOD, and it has ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY:
7 He worketh by POWER according to the FAITH of the children of men the SAME TODAY and TOMORROW and FOREVER. (Moroni 10)
Moroni concluded by putting everyone in remembrance that all good gifts come from Christ:
18 And I would exhort you, my beloved brethren, that ye REMEMBER that EVERY GOOD GIFT COMETH OF CHRIST. (Moroni 10)
Where is Jesus in all of Joe’s revelations and formulas? Nowhere, count the times for yourself. Joe’s priesthood replaces faith in Christ alone; it appears Jesus is NOT ENOUGH.
