Normalizing Sin

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do
and then not do it. (James 4:17 NLT)

Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman,
neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
(1 Corinthians 11:11)

Men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women,
Burned with lust for each other.
Men did shameful things with other men, and
As a result of this sin, they suffered within
Themselves the penalty they deserved.
(Romans 1:27 NLT)

Q. Did Jesus confirm the Law of Marriage?
A. Yes.

4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (Matthew 19:4–6)

Where are the Tomboys?

Tomboy. an energetic, sometimes boisterous girl whose behavior and pursuits, especially in games and sports, are considered more typical of boys than of girls. (Random House Unabridged Dictionary)

Where are the Tomgirls?

Tomgirl. From tom +‎ girl. The “girlish boy” sense was formed as an antonym of tomboy; the “boyish girl” sense is an alteration of tomboy to reinforce that the referent is a girl. (Wiktionary)

Effeminacy. is the embodiment of feminine traits in boys or men, particularly those considered untypical of men or masculinity.[1] These traits include roles, stereotypes, behaviors, and appearances that are socially associated with women and girls. Throughout history, men considered effeminate have faced prejudice and discrimination. Gay men are often stereotyped as being effeminate, and vice versa. However, femininity, masculinity, and other forms of gender expression are INDEPENDENT OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION. (Wikipedia)

Habits Create Character

Plant a thought and reap a word;
plant a word and reap an action;
plant an action and reap a habit;
plant a habit and reap a character;
plant a character and reap a destiny.
Bishop Beckwaith, 1885

Hold every thought captive:

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion
raised against the knowledge of God, and
take every thought captive to obey Christ
(2 Corinthians 10:2 ESV)

Christ as Source

30 And again I would exhort you that ye would come unto Christ, and lay hold upon every good gift, and touch not the evil gift, nor the unclean thing.
32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; (Moroni 10)

What Kind of Fruit?

16 You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act.
Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17 A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit.
18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit.
19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down
and thrown into the fire. (Matthew 7 NLT)

Can homosexual couples reproduce? Can they give back by giving life? The fruit of no offspring is a great loss to a sustainable society, not to mention a heartbreak to potential grandparents. Only an aging parent knows the sadness brought by a lack of grandchildren.

That which you can control should be controlled. Control thoughts, control behavior. It’s not always easy, but that’s life’s first order of business. As creatures of habit, we can create new habits, new behaviors, and a new character. With Christ, all things are possible.

For we know that our OLD SELF was crucified with him so that the body RULED BY SIN might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin(Romans 6:6)

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the OLD MAN, which is corrupt according to the DECEITFUL LUSTS; And BE RENEWED in the spirit of YOUR MIND; And that ye put on the NEW MAN, which after God is CREATED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUE HOLINESS. (Ephesians 4:22–24)

The consequences of a life contrary to nature, void of children and grandchildren, is full of loneliness, sorrow, and premature deaths; it robs the spouse and children of the life they were supposed to have as foreordained by God. Look into the many pre-birth and near-death-experience testimonies people share.

While you lay in bed with a same-sex partner or spouse, know there’s a “widow” and children at your expense. What could be a more selfish life than that?

The Science of Habit

The concept was first defined by researcher Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz and then popularized by Dr. Rick Hanson, a psychologist and senior fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center and author of “Hardwiring Happiness.” (https://www.healthline.com/health/the-science-of-habit)

Mind—>Brain—>Body

So the first step is mind, then brain, then body, then how you show up in life. So that’s the order. We’ve kind of got it back to front and the science actually shows the order that I depict is saying: mind, brain, body, how you show up, is actually what science is actually saying is the correct thing. Saying brain produces mind has been disproved. (Ed Mylett, “The CUTTING EDGE of Neuroscience w/ Dr. Caroline Leaf,” YouTube, Jun 27, 2023, 11:51)
